Slack is introducing Slackforce Surfaces, a new capability that transforms chat into a workspace for building interactive content. Users can ask Slackbot to create dashboards, polls, reports, presentations, and microsites by describing what they need in plain language. The AI pulls relevant data from conversation history and integrated services like Google Drive and Salesforce, then generates a customizable Surface.

Once created, these interactive elements can be shared, pinned to channels, and edited collaboratively. Team members can view, interact with, and comment on Surfaces without leaving Slack. Slack demonstrated the feature with an example showing token-usage visualization styled as an arcade game, illustrating how the tool blends utility with creative customization.
